In a shocking incident, a Monsey Hatzolah member was assaulted by an irate truck driver on Sunday as the member responded to an emergency incident. MONSEY SCOOP reports that the Hatzolah member was at a call on Ridge Avenue in Spring Valley at approximately 3:45 pm Sunday afternoon, and his vehicle partially blocked the roadway as he attended to the patient. Shortly afterwards, a truck driver attempted to pass through the roadway, but was unable to due to the emergency vehicle blocking it. Furious at the inconvenience, the truck driver exited his vehicle, approached a Hatzolah member, and promptly assaulted him before fleeing on foot.

The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Unit is investigating an attack on a Jewish man in Brooklyn. Police say the suspect told an 18-year-old man in traditional Jewish clothing that he is ‘going to get rid of all you Jews.’ The attack was the latest in a growing trend of anti-Semitic hate crimes erupting in the city. It happened around 6:15 a.m. Thursday on Park Ave. near Spencer St. in Bedford Stuyvesant. The man then tried to punch the victim, but he missed and pushed him to the ground. The victim refused medical attention when police arrived. An investigation by the Hate Crimes Unit is ongoing. Police sought help from the public in finding the suspect, who was described as being 40 years old, around 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 180 pounds, bald and of medium build.   (AP)

If antisemitic Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar are looking for a foreign policy ally, they might soon have a Republican as one. His name is Greg Raths, a candidate running to beat Rep. Young Kim in the GOP primary for California’s 40th District. Last week, Raths went on an antisemitic rant as he spoke at an Orange County Islamic Foundation candidate forum. “That’s the problem. Israeli PAC in Washington, they got money and they control a lot of these politicians. And the other side, the Palestinians, they don’t have the clout. So these politicians go where the money is, unfortunately,” Raths said. “The Jewish community is very well organized in the United States, and they control a lot of politicians. That’s why the foreign aid is so large going to Israel.

Texas authorities say the gunman who massacred 21 people at an elementary school was in the building for over an hour before he was killed by law enforcement officers. The amount of time that elapsed has stirred anger and questions among family members, who demanded to know why they did not storm the place and put a stop to the rampage more quickly. Texas Department of Public Safety spokesperson Travis Considine said 18-year-old Salvador Ramos entered Robb Elementary School and began his rampage at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday. A Border Patrol tactical unit began trying to get inside an hour later, and at 12:58 p.m., radio chatter noted he was dead.

Williamsburg Hatzolah’s heroic volunteers took on an unusual task Wednesday morning: breaking down a door to gain access to a patient. Passers-by of a shoe store in Williamsburg Wednesday morning noticed the establishment’s proprietor sprawled unconscious on the floor. Upon attempting to reach him, they found the door to the store locked, barring their entry. Williamsburg Hatzolah was quickly called, with half a dozen EMTs and paramedics converging on the store in a matter of minutes. Facing down the barrier preventing them from getting to the patient, Hatzolah members simply attacked the door, smashing in the glass and then snapping open the lock to allow them to enter.
