The NYPD is investigating a shots fired incident in Flatbush, Monday afternoon. FLATBUSH SCOOP REPORTS, that shots were fired just after 12:00PM at the intersection of Nostrand Avenue and Avenue K. No one was struck, and shell-casings have already been recovered. Officers are in the process of conducting a hospital canvass to see if any gunshot victims walked into an emergency room. It appears two men were firing at each other, and quite possibly knew each other. The incident in on the east side of Nostrand Avenue, and in the confines of the 63 Precinct. Despite that, newly appointed Commanding Officer of the 70 Precinct, Deputy Inspector Bruce P. Ceparano as well as Inspector Richie Taylor of Community Affairs responded to the scene. The IDF overnight Sunday carried out an operation in the Palestinian town of Rummanah, the hometown of the Elad terrorists, and arrested two Palestinians suspected of aiding the terrorists. Border Police officers and Shin Bet operatives assisted the IDF in the operation. Security forces also operated in a number of other Palestinian towns, arresting 13 terror-related suspects, including two suspected of involvement in the Ariel terror attack. Search crews with dogs hunted through the ruins of a luxury hotel in Cuba’s capital Sunday for survivors of an apparent gas explosion and officials raised the number of known dead to 30. The Hotel Saratoga, a five-star 96-room hotel in Old Havana, was preparing to reopen after being closed for two years when an apparent gas leak caused a massive explosion on Friday. Cuban officials on Sunday raised the known death toll to 30 from 27 even as crews continued to search for victims of the blast that sheared outer walls from the building and damaged several nearby structures, including the historic Marti Theater and the Calvary Baptist Church, the headquarters for the denomination in western Cuba.

The bloodthirsty murderous Elad terrorists, who were caught in a forested area near Elad on Sunday, readily admitted to the attack, in which they murdered three people and severely injured three others. The terrorists were found in a weakened state after spending 62 hours with little access to food and water. In the video below, terrorist Assad Al Rafai identified himself and admitted to the attack, claiming that he doesn’t remember “exactly what happened but we hit people.” Many social media users expressed outrage over the following video, which shows one of the terrorists smoking a cigarette shortly after he was caught.

A Border Police officer was stabbed near Sha’ar Shechem on Sunday evening. Other officers nearby shot at the terrorist and neutralized him. Paramedics were called to the scene and administered emergency medical aid to the 19-year-old victim, who was fully conscious, and evacuated him to Hadassah Har HaTzofim Hospital in moderate condition. MDA paramedic Simcha Goldman said: “The wounded victim was lying on the steps while fully conscious and suffering from a stab wound to his upper body. We administered life-saving medical care that included stopping the bleeding and bandages. A fire tore through a Chabad House in Tallahassee, Florida, early Sunday morning, causing extensive damage before firefighters knocked down the blaze. It isn’t yet known whether the sifrei torah survived the inferno, as fire officials have yet to allow anyone enter the ravaged structure. It also remains unclear what sparked the fire, and arson has not been ruled out. The Morris and Lillian Tabacinic Chabad Center served as a center for Jewish life for the last decade and was a beacon of light, full of the beauty and joy of Jewish life. Thousands of Jewish students and members of the Tallahassee community met one another at Shabbos and Yom Tov davening and at meals, participated in Torah study, and witnessed acts of kindness that emanated to all areas.

An man violently attacked a Chassidic Jewish man in Crown Heights on Friday while spewing anti-Semitic hate speech, the NYPD says. The 32-year-old victim was approached by an unknown assailant at President Street and Utica Avenue in Crown Heights around 3:00PM Friday, when a man asked him “What are you looking at?” before punching him in the face and head, authorities said. They said the suspect started punching the man in the head and kicking him in the legs, all while making anti-Semitic remarks, including “Nazis should have killed you Jews”. The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating the incident. Police said the victim was transported to a hospital in Cobble Hill.

Shas chairman Aryeh Deri had to be rescued by the police on Thursday afternoon after a large group of extremists attacked him in the Bucharim neighborhood of Jerusalem. Deri had gone to a shul in the neighborhood to deliver a shiur for a Torah learning program that was taking place as Israel celebrated Yom Ha’atzmaut [as people are off from work]. He was spotted by extremists from Mea Shearim and they began to gather outside the shul and protest while Deri was inside. Police officers were called to the scene and when Deri finished his shiur, they escorted him to his car as the extremists yelled derogatory terms at him. (YWN Israel Desk – Jerusalem)

A number of Elad residents who witnessed the terrible scene on Thursday night reported that a policeman nearby saw the scene unfold but didn’t shoot the terrorist. Mordechai, a 40-year-old Elad resident, said that he saw the terrorists yelling Allahu akbar and smashing their axes on people’s heads. A security guard nearby started pulling out his gun but before he could shoot, one of the terrorists swung his ax at him and critically injured him. Mordechai added that there was also a police officer nearby who witnessed the scene but didn’t shoot his gun. They yelled at him: “Shoot, shoot” but he failed to respond. “He was scared to shoot,” Mordechai said.
