Just days before the deadly terror attack in Elad on Thursday night, Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar called on Palestinians to attack Israelis with “cleavers, axes, and knives.” Eyewitnesses at the Elad terror attack told police that the two terrorists involved in the incident were swinging axes at their victims. “Whoever does not have a gun should prepare his cleaver, axe, or knife,” Sinwar said in a sickening speech to his supporters last weekend. On Saturday, Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas called on Palestinians to attack Israelis with “cleavers, axes & knives.” Eyewitnesses in tonight’s terror attacked in Elad told police that two men attacked residents with an ax. This is Hamas. This is the evil we are fighting.

Dovid of Elad survived the massacre on Thursday and told B’Chadrei Chareidim about the neis he experienced when his life was saved thanks to hot cholent. “I was sitting in the car with my friend and we were eating cholent,” Dovid said. “The terrorists, carrying huge axes, came on both sides of the car. My friend threw his boiling hot cholent on one of the terrorists and he got burned and stopped in his tracks. Meanwhile, I grabbed the end of his ax and I managed to push him away. He flew three steps back. And then the second terrorist tried to hit my friend again but my friend pushed him back and they fled.” “We had wanted to eat in the park [where the attack happened] but we saw that it was packed with kids so we decided to eat in the car.” “Baruch Hashem we were saved.

Arabs rioted at Har Habayis on Thursday, Yom Haatzmaut, in response to hundreds of Jews visiting the site for the first time in almost two weeks, after Prime Minister Naftali Bennett banned Jews from visiting the site during Ramadan [to appease the Islamist Ra’am party.] Dozens of Arabs rioted, throwing stones and other objects at the police. They also screamed at the visitors: “With spirit, with blood, we’ll redeem Al-Aqsa” and “Allahu Akbar.” Police used riot control methods to disperse the crowd and the Arabs entered the mosque, where as per usual in recent days, they began to riot and hurl objects, desecrating and causing damage to their own mosque. By 5 p.m. on Thursday almost 1,000 Jews had visited Har HaBayis. The Jews who visited reported that the site has been heavily damaged.

With his approval ratings sagging and Democratic odds of hanging on to their majorities in Congress growing ever slimmer, President Joe Biden has adopted a new strategy: attack Republicans, viciously. At a Wednesday news conference condemning the leak of a Supreme Court draft opinion showing that the court has voted to strike down Roe v. Wade, Biden said former President Trump’s supporters are “the most extreme political organization that’s existed in American history.” “What are the next things that are going to be attacked?” Biden said, suggesting that overturning abortion rights is just the first in a series of rights rollbacks Republicans are planning.

The Jewish community of Kyiv, Ukraine, celebrated the bris of an 11-year-old boy named Igor in Kerestir, Hungary, on Wednesday – the yahrtzeit of Reb Shayale ben Reb Moshe. The boy, from the orphanage in Kyiv led by Rabbi Bleich, fled Ukraine as war broke out and is currently being sheltered in Budapest. Last week, Igor agreed to have a bris performed. The community brought him to Kerestir, with the bris taking place in the home of the Forshay Rebbe. The rebbe served as sandek in the moving ceremony. The boy, now a member of the bris shel Avraham Avinue, chose his name to be Avraham Shaya ben Avraham, after his rebbe in Kyiv whose name is Avraham, and after Reb Shayale. Hundreds of chassidim from the US are stuck in Frankfurt, Germany after Lufthansa Airlines refused to allow them to board their connecting flight to Hungary. The airline claims that some of the chassidim wouldn’t listen to the flight attendants’ instructions and refused to wear masks. However, even if the claim is true, they punished the whole group of hundreds of people instead of penalizing individuals. Additionally, the chassidim said that many of the non-Jewish passengers were not wearing masks but they were allowed to remain on the flight. The chassidim landed in Frankfurt on Wednesday and were scheduled to board a connecting flight to Hungary in order to visit the kever of Reb Shayele in Krestiner for the yahrzeit.

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren was in an apoplectic rage Tuesday afternoon as she practically yelled at reporters about her anger over the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to strike down Roe v. Wade. “I am angry,” she said while on her way to join a pro-abortion protest outside the Supreme Court. “Angry and upset and determined.” “They have been out here plotting, carefully cultivating these Supreme Court justices so they could have a majority on the bench who would accomplish something that the majority of Americans do not want,” Warren said. “I am angry,” she said again at the protest. “I am here because I am angry, and I am here because the United States Congress can change all of this! Angry, but committed.” (YWN World Headquarters – NYC)

A group of Arabs began chanting the words “Allahu akbar” on the Jerusalem light rail on Monday morning. The words “Allahu akbar” which literally mean “G-d is great” are often screamed by terrorists as they perpetrate a terror attack in the “name of Allah.” A video of the scene was posted by an Arab on TikTok and then made its rounds on Israeli social media. Now14 journalist Yinon Magal posted the video and commented: “The light rail in Jerusalem this morning. They’ve become arrogant. This doesn’t bode well…” One social media user responded by commenting that he heard an interview on the radio with one of the Jerusalem light rail planners before it was completed.

A Ukrainian refugee in Antwerp began accosting Chassidim on Friday night, shouting aggressive anti-Semitic comments at them. One chassid, who is a Shomrim volunteer, decided to take action and tackled the man to the ground, holding him down with the help of other chassidim until the police arrived. A video of the incident was taken by a non-Jew in a nearby apartment, who – judging by the laughter heard in the video – was quite amused by the turn of the events. The refugee was arrested by the police. According to a B’Chadrei Chareidim report, the refugee is not the only Ukrainian anti-Semitic refugee accosting Jews in Antwerp in recent weeks. One Shomron volunteer told B’Chadrei: “We caught several of them stealing bikes, breaking into apartments, and threatening Jews on the streets.
