Conservative activist group Project Veritas, has now obtained hidden recordings of a campaign staffer saying that that NJ Governor Phil Murphy is going to impose vaccine mandates after the election. Both the political aides filmed – Wendy Martinez, a consultant hired to work on Murphy’s campaign, and Matthew Urquijo, manager of a coordinated campaign called Forward 2021 funded by the New Jersey Democratic State Committee – said Murphy is waiting to act to avoid angering swing voters. “He [Murphy] is going to do it [COVID vaccine mandate], but he couldn’t do it before the elections. Because of the independents and the undecided.” Martinez noted that independent and undecided voters would not pull the lever for Murphy if he rolled out the mandate before the election.

A video posted by Yisrael Beiteinu MK Yulia Malinovsky, who serves as the chairman of the Knesset’s Committee for Religous Services despite the fact that she is completely secular, raised a furor in Israel on Tuesday. The video, which she posted on Tiktok, shows Malinovsky pointing to the symbols of Badatz Eidah HaChareidis and Badatz Beis Yosef with a disgruntled expression on her face and then points to a symbol of “Hashgachas Badatz of Yulia Malinovsky” with a smile and a “thumbs up” gesture. Malinovsky is currently spending long hours on discussions on the controversial kashrus reforms being advanced by Religious Affairs Minister Matan Kahana, which are expected to be approved in the Knesset soon as part of the Arrangements Law, a bill passed as part of the state budget.

President Biden coughed into his hand following a Monday speech in New Jersey and proceeded to use it to shake hands with members of the public, all while not wearing a mask. Earlier this month, the president and first lady stoked controversy when they were caught walking without a mask through a ritzy Italian seafood restaurant in Washington, D.C., where all individuals over age 2 are required to wear a mask indoors, regardless of vaccination status.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio separately received COVID-19 booster shots Monday as part of their efforts to promote widespread vaccinations. The two Democrats, who received their shots at different events, were eligible because they had each received the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine earlier this year. De Blasio, 60, got a booster shot of the Moderna vaccine from city Health Commissioner Dr. Dave Chokshi during the mayor’s regular online news briefing. “Give me a boost, Dave,” de Blasio said. Hochul, 63, got a Moderna booster at a public ribbon cutting at the Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Johnson City, near Binghamton. “Didn’t even feel a thing,” she said to applause. The new governor of a northwestern Iranian province was slapped in the face by an angry man during his inauguration Saturday, an unusual breach of security in the Islamic Republic during a ceremony attended by the country’s interior minister. A motive for the attack in Iran’s Eastern Azerbaijan province remained unclear, though it targeted a new provincial governor who once served in the country’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard and reportedly had been kidnapped at one point by rebel forces in Syria. One report referred to it as a personal dispute. The new governor, Brig. Gen. Abedin Khorram, had taken the podium in the provincial capital of Tabriz when the man strode out from offstage and immediately swung at the official.

Moments into a rally speech to support Virginia’s Democratic candidate for governor Terry McAuliffe, former President Barack Obama condemned Republicans’ “refusal to support voting rights” and GOP theories about the 2020 election that dominate mid-term campaigns. “You have to ask yourself: Why is it that Republicans don’t want you to vote?” he said on 23 October. “What is it they’re so afraid of? I would assume, if they think they’ve got better ideas, why don’t they make the case? Tell us your ideas. Tell us why you think they’ll be better.” He added: “Explain it. If you’ve got good ideas people will flock to your ideas. But that’s not what they do. Instead they try to rig elections.” (YWN World Headquarters – NYC)

On videos that circulated throughout social media this past week, Chareidi Yeshiva students can be seen dancing at a wedding to the sounds of Arab music, while in the middle of the circle numerous Chareidi yeshiva students danced while dressed like Arabs armed brandishing rifles. After numerous attempts to figure out exactly what was taking place, the BeChadrei Charedim news site set forth to uncover the truth behind the incident that spread widely on the internet. According to their report, the wedding took place in the Sequoia wedding hall in the town of Ma’aleh HaHamisha, and the armed Arabs that were seen in the video were actually Chareidi yeshiva students from the yeshiva in Meitzad, who put on Arab dress and brandished toy rifles that were intended to look like real ones.

Reps. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) got into an argument Thursday during a House Judiciary Committee hearing featuring Attorney General Merrick Garland over giving notice to show a video featuring parents at school board meetings. Nadler objected to Jordan showing the footage on the grounds that the Ohio Republican did not provide 48 hours notice to the committee before showing the video. When Jordan tried to respond to the decision, Nadler said “that’s out of order, this is not debatable” then later said he was following protocol set by a previous Republican chairman, Rep. Bob Goodlatte (Va.). WATCH VIDEO BELOW:
