A pregnant Jewish woman was rushed to the hospital after being stalked, suffocated and viciously punched in the Stamford Hill neighborhood of London. The attack took place on Manor Road in Stamford Hill at 6:30pm on the 19th of March. A pregnant woman and her unborn baby survived the terrifying attack after a male suspect attacked her from behind, placed a pillow over her head and proceeded to punch the victim several times in the vicious unprovoked attack. Shomrim and the police are urgently appealing for witnesses and anyone with information on the suspect – who fled the scene – to immediately contact police.

HaGaon HaRav Gershon Edelstein answered questions about voting in a video published on Motzei Shabbos by the United Torah Judaism (UTJ) party. The campaign representatives began by saying: “After this difficult year of dealing with the coronavirus, many people feel that the Chareidi representatives weren’t there for them.” HaRav Edelstein: “Voting for Gimmel is a declaration, Hashem Hu HaElokim, Moshe Emes V’Toraso Emes. Not voting is saying that you’re unconcerned about making a Kiddush Hashem, you’re not sharing in making a Kiddush Hashem. They’re being oseik in Kiddush Hashem, and you’re running away from it.” “If you don’t vote Gimmel, you’re preventing a Kiddush Hashem.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas traveled to the US-Mexico border on Friday with a group of bipartisan senators. Typically on such a trip, a cabinet secretary and lawmakers would be accompanied by reporters or a member of the White House press pool to feed notes back to newsrooms. But on this trip, the Biden administration blocked that from happening. It’s part of a larger pattern of restricted media access at the southern US border – despite promises of transparency and the fact that at least 14,000 migrant children are detained in federal custody amid a surge in migrants attempting to enter the country.

In a sermon last week in Miami, imam Dr. Fadi Yousef Kablawi slammed Arab states who consider peace and normalization with Jews, whom he referred to as “the offspring of apes and pigs” and responsible for worldwide corruption. Kablawi’s speech at the North Miami Islamic Center was posted on its Facebook page. It was translated and publicized by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI). “Some people talk about peace and normalization and say that these are good people,” Kablawi, who is an immigrant from Jordan, decried. “Are you crazy? You are fools, that is what you are.” “You sold your religion, your people, your creed, your nations, and your nationalism, and you stand for nothing, because you are losers.

President Joe Biden tumbled three separate times trying to board Air Force One Friday as he and Vice President Kamala Harris departed the nation’s capital to meet with local leaders in Atlanta following a series of deadly shootings. The president was briskly climbing the stairs to the presidential jet before appearing to trip, attempting to gather himself, then tripping again. A reporter in the pool following Biden reported that it’s a windy day at Andrews Air Force Base. (YWN World Headquarters – NYC)

The attached videos are were taken in Boro Park on Thursday, as two veteran MTA bus drivers refused to move for each other – both claiming that they had the “right of way”. It happened on 13th Avenue and 39th Street, just a week before Pesach, as traffic is substantially higher than usual. Two two drivers bickered and yelled at each other, while the entire area turned into gridlock for close to THIRTY MINUTES! The arrogant drivers refused to budge, until stuck motorists managed to convince the drivers to finally move. At one point, one driver yelled at someone taking videos of the incident. The driver then changed his attitude, and asked if the man had taken a nice picture of him. “Send it to Channel 2 News”, the driver said. Well, it’s not CBS, but it’s YWN!

At a Senate hearing Thursday, Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) accused Dr. Anthony Fauci – the nation’s top infectious disease expert – of perpetuating “nanny state” policies that unnecessarily prolong mask use among vaccinated Americans. Kentucky’s junior senator – and ophthalmologist prior to entering politics – has repeatedly clashed with Fauci over coronavirus guidelines. Paul was infected with the virus in 2020 and says there is no need for vaccinated and previously infected individuals to continue public mask use. On Thursday he directly called out Fauci for continuing to wear a mask despite receiving a vaccine. “What studies do you have that people that have had the vaccine or have had the infection are spreading the infection?

Just a few weeks ago, NYC Mayoral candidate Andrew Yang said in a statement to YWN that had “disagreed with Linda Sarsour on many issues including BDS and Israel.” Yang made the statement following a NY Post article which alleged that his campaign manager has ties with notorious Jew-hater Linda Sarsour. But tonight, a video tweeted by Journalist Jacob Kornbluh has Andrew Yang singing a totally different tune, guaranteed to raise eyebrows. Yang was responding to a question about his opposition to BDS in a forum co-hosted by Emgage.

The Biden administration announced the outlines of a plan to “loan” vaccines to Canada and Mexico even as the president announced that the U.S. is on the cusp of meeting his 100-day injection goal “way ahead of schedule.” “I’m proud to announce that tomorrow, 58 days into our administration, we will have met our goal,” Biden said.
