The Belzer Rebbe, who underwent surgery on Monday morning, Chol Hamoed Pesach, spent Shivii shel Pesach in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital with his son, HaRav Aharon Mordechai Rokeach, grandsons and gabbaim. In a first, Belzer chassidim, many of whom travel to Jerusalem every year to spend shviii shel Pesach with the Rebbe, were asked to remain home. The Rebbe held a small tisch on leil haChag from his hospital ward and held “Neilas HaChag” at tzeis haChag with his children and grandchildren. Baruch Hashem, the Rebbe is doing well and was released from the hospital on Thursday afternoon. He will continue recuperating at home and will not receive the public in the coming days. The public is asked to continue davening for a refuah sheleimah for the Rebbe Yissachar Dov ben Miriam b’toch sha’ar cholei Yisrael. (YWN Israel Desk – Jerusalem)
