This Tuesday, November 14, a “March for Israel” will be held on the National Mall in Washington, DC, where American Jews and Israel supporters will unite to express solidarity with Israel in its battle against terrorism and confront the escalating antisemitism within the United States.
This massive rally is being orchestrated by the Jewish Federations of North America and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, attracting participants from across the nation, with numerous local communities organizing buses for the event.
Many yeshivos from the tri-state area and beyond will be participating as well, as seen in the letter, for example, from Yeshivas Chofetz Chaim above.

6,500 Chabad-Lubavitch rabbis from 100 countries — along with 1,400 rabbis and leaders joining virtually from their own parallel conference in Israel, where they continue to serve — gathered for the annual Chabad Kinnus Hashluchim Gala Banquet.

It is a time of suffering for the Jewish nation – may the suffering be the source of salvation; the strength of the Jewish people is only through prayer.

Already an annual tradition, with thousands of rabbis posing together as part of the International Conference of Chabad-Lubavitch Emissaries (Kinus Hashluchim), this year’s edition this morning carried added meaning as the Jewish community faces unprecedented adversity.
At the forefront of this year’s conference, the 40th year it is being held, is the tragedy in Israel, and exploring more ways to support the people of Israel, as well as strengthen Jewish pride at home in the face of rising hate and antisemitism. An estimated 1,400 Chabad rabbis were unable to travel to the conference from Israel as they chose to remain behind with their communities in this fraught time.

A powerful letter was written by Rav Dov Landau, Rosh Yeshivas Slabodka, in response to the question of whether to help and donate money to the soldiers or to help yeshivos and mosdos haTorah.

The letter was released the day before Election Day, when Avi Schnall will be seeking to unseat incumbent Ned Thomson to represent New Jersey’s 30th district in the State Assembly. Schnall has received the rabbonim’s full-throated endorsement.

The Sanzer Rebbe, on Thursday night, celebrated the engagement of his granddaughter in a small, intimate simcha held at his residence in the city of Netanya. This was a departure from the usual practice, as tenaim celebrations in the Rebbe’s family usually take place in a grand hall, accommodating thousands of Chassidim.
The rebbe explained the reason for this to those close to him: “How can we rejoice when Jewish blood is being shed? Many Jews are in distress and fear, and parents of children await good news from their loved ones.”
