A tanker truck crashed into a storefront in Rockville Centre, sparking a massive fire that snarled the Wednesday morning commute on Sunrise Highway. The tanker had flipped on its side and crashed into a vacant storefront that had recently been the location of a La-Z-Boy showroom. The driver managed to escape his burning tanker and was taken to Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside where he was being evaluated by doctors. Firefighters said that burning gas had also seeped into the local sewer system. “I looked down Sunrise Highway… there was fire coming out seven or eight manhole covers, all the way down, about a quarter mile down Sunrise Highway,” Rockville Centre Fire Chief James Avondet told ABC7.

Levy welcomed Pelosi to the Knesset in Hebrew, thanking her for the US support of Israel and its right to defend itself, including financial assistance for Israel’s security needs, especially the Iron Dome missile defense system.

NYC Mayor Eric Adams asserted that the reason why some are critical of his leadership is because he is black. “We need to really stop distorting the news,” Adams said. “I’m a black man that’s the mayor, but my story has been interpreted by people that don’t look like me,” he said. “We gotta be honest about that. How many blacks are on editorial boards? How many blacks are determining how these stories are being written?” “My role as mayor is being interpreted through the prisms of your reality and not mine,” Adams said. “So when you write stories, you’re not writing stories for people who were almost homeless like me. You’re not writing stories for people who were arrested and beat by police officers. You’re not writing stories for those who are dealing with high crime.

Israeli social media was abuzz on Monday about a video of Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi crossing the room in a special gesture of welcome to Israeli Energy Minister Karine Elharrar at an international energy conference in Cairo. It was the first time that Israel was invited to the conference. Al-Sisi told Elharrar that he was happy she came and invited her to return again to Cairo. In their latest destination in their recent wanderings in the Balkan area of southeast Europe, a group of Lev Tahor members is now residing in North Macedonia. As YWN reported, Lev Tahor members left Bosnia a week and a half ago and briefly crossed into Montenegro before continuing to Albania. Apparently, they weren’t granted permission to stay in Albania and crossed into neighboring North Macedonia, where they are now temporarily residing. Their strange attire has attracted much attention from their neighbors, who have been videoing the Lev Tahor members and posting them on social media along with footage of group members from security cameras.

Maybe they’re just trying to find the right words. Thus far, just about every mainstream media outlet has ignored the bombshell report from Special Counsel John Durham that states that Hillary Clinton’s campaign spied on Donald Trump, both as a candidate and as president. A court filing from Durham said that the Clinton campaign hired tech executives to “infiltrate” Trump Tower and White House servers in an attempt to create a narrative linking Trump to Russia. Trump had previously attempted to talk publicly about his claims that his campaign was spied on, but he was shut down by the media. Famously, during an October 2020 interview with CBS’ 60 Minutes, host Leslie Stahl said Trump was spreading unverified information.

The senior government official who confirmed Trudeau’s decision said emergency powers would be invoked for all of Canada.
