Instagram removed a post on the @theyeshivaworld Instagram account, Wednesday afternoon. The post showed an IDF Airstrike of a Hamas terror facility in Gaza. Reason given by Instagram: “Post removed for violence of dangerous organizations”. So let’s understand this. You can praise Hitler, and openly call for the death of Jews. Hamas and Iran can publicly call for the annihilation of Israel, but when the IDF blows up a terror factory and YWN publishes it, Instagram removes it. THE DOUBLE STANDARD IS SICKENING! A Charedi man walking by Sha’ar Shechem was violently beaten by Arabs on Thursday. Fortunately, policemen nearby arrived at the scene quickly and the Arabs fled. Police officers searched the area and arrested five suspects. It turned out that the Chareidi man is the grandson of the late Rechavam “Gandhi” Ze’evi, z’l, a former Israeli politician who was assassinated by Arab terrorists in 2001. A New York City police officer was shot three times in a gun battle with a man suspected in a fatal shooting minutes earlier, officials said Thursday. The wounded officer was expected to recover and the suspected gunman was under arrest, Police Commissioner Dermot Shea said at a briefing at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn. “The officer, thank God, is here, he is well and he is expected to make a full recovery,” Shea said. Shea said two police officers and a sergeant, all in uniform, were on patrol in Brooklyn shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday when shots were fired a few blocks away. Minutes after the first shooting, the officers spotted a man walking briskly, Shea said. The two police officers got out of their unmarked patrol car to investigate.

Following a night of out of control violence, and the attempted lynching of Jews and Arabs, PM Netanyhau spoke to the nation: “What is happening in Israel’s cities over the past few days is unacceptable. We have seen Arab rioters set fire to synagogues and vehicles and attack police officers. They are attacking peaceful and innocent citizens. This is something that we cannot accept; it is anarchy. Nothing justifies this and I will tell you that nothing justifies the lynching of Jews by Arabs and nothing justifies the lynching of Arabs by Jews. We will not tolerate this. This violence is not us. We will restore administration and governance in Israel’s cities everywhere, in all cities, in the Jewish-Arab integrated cities, in Jewish cities, everywhere.

President Biden says he has spoken to Israeli PM Netanyahu about the conflict in the region: “My expectation and hope this will be closing down sooner than later. Israel has a right to defend itself when you have thousands of rockets flying into your territory.”

A six-year-old boy was R”L killed by a direct rocket hit on a house in Sderot. At least three others were seriously wounded in the attack. Hamas says it fired 130 rockets at Israel a short time ago, including at the country’s center, in retaliation for a strike on a multi-story building in Gaza City. Meanwhile, Islamic Jihad released a message threatening to send another barrage of rockets towards Israel at 9:00PM. United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Yaakov Bar Yochai who was one of the first responders at the scene relayed: “We arrived at the scene of the rocket strike together with a mobile intensive care ambulance from United Hatzalah and we found the boy in critical condition and the woman in serious condition.

The Israeli government declared a state of emergency and Border Police were called into Lod overnight Tuesday as rioting by Arab mobs in the mixed Israeli-Arab city reached new heights to levels never seen before in Israeli history. Defense Minister Benny Gantz ordered all Border Police companies who were aiding the IDF in the Shomron to assist in Lod and the neighboring city of Ramle. The order came after a request from Lod Mayor Yair Revivo, who asked Netanyahu to declare a state of emergency in the city as the situation is “too big for the police.” “This is Kristallnacht in Lod,” he said. “We’ve lost control of the city and the streets.

For the second time in the past few hours, a massive barrage of rockets was fired from Gaza into the Tel Aviv area at around 3:00AM IL. The Iron Dome system can be seen intercepting rockets over the city. Loud booms were heard in the city, but there were no immediate reports of casualties. Rockets were also fired at Beersheba and Ashkelon. The barrage came minutes after the IDF destroyed a nine-story building in Gaza. The IDF had warned the occupants for many hours that the building was going to be leveled. The nine-story structure houses residential apartments, medical production companies and a dental clinic. Israeli aircraft fired five warning rockets from a drone to alert people of the incoming bombing early Wednesday.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the Nation. The following are his remarks: “We are in the midst of a major campaign – Operation Guardian of the Walls. Yesterday and today, the IDF attacked hundreds of Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip. We have eliminated dozens of terrorists, including senior commanders. We have bombed Hamas command centers and toppled buildings that serve the terrorist organizations. We will continue to attack with all force. We have just finished a consultation and assessment of the situation with the heads of the security establishment and we made decisions. Hamas and Islamic Jihad have paid and – I tell you here – will pay a very heavy price for their aggression. I say here this evening – their blood is on their heads.

Two Palestinian terrorists were shot at the Tapuach Junction on Tuesday afternoon. It appears the team were attempting to carry out a terror attack. Some reports say it was an attempting shooting attack, while others say it was an attempted car-ramming attack. It appears both terrorists are still alive. Video below from the incident.
